What is the relationship between the nature of agitation and the Dharani Dharani: A sacred Buddhist chant or "incantation" believed to hold the essence of a teaching. Here, it refers to the spiritual power that "holds" or "sustains" enlightenment. original: "陀羅尼", serving as its ground, its path, and its footprints?
Manjushri The Bodhisattva of Transcendent Wisdom. addressed the Buddha, saying: "World-Honored One, how is this affliction of anger equal to, and no different from, the Vajra Dharani Seal?" Vajra: Literally "diamond" or "thunderbolt," representing an indestructible and irresistible spiritual force. original: "金剛陀羅尼印"
The Buddha said: "Manjushri, this affliction of anger arises and increases when one encounters disagreeable and conflicting circumstances. Furthermore, one should observe that these disagreeable circumstances—comprised of form, scent, flavor, touch, and so on—are merely combinations that decay; they are empty and like a magical illusion.
Thought by thought, they do not abide; the past is already extinguished, the future has not yet arrived, and the present is not real. Because the past is already extinguished, that very extinction has no reality. One should therefore know that the angry mind has no place from which to arise.

Manjushri, if one can sequentially observe the beginning, middle, and end and find not a single Dharma In this context, a 'dharma' refers to any distinct phenomenon or 'thing'. to be grasped, how could any 'equality' emerge from it? Know that this very state is the purity of the Dharani Seal."
sand as one walks, the footprints appear.
"Furthermore, Manjushri, you should know that the affliction of ignorance (6) is also the trace left by the Dharani Seal."
Manjushri addressed the Buddha, saying: "How is it that ignorance is the trace of the pure Dharani Seal?"
The Buddha said: "Manjushri, know that ignorance is a lack of wisdom, a lack of clarity, and a lack of understanding. Furthermore, you should know that the nature of this lack of clarity is empty and non-existent; ultimately, it returns to the state of 'nothing to be attained.'
Next, you should know that the nature of this ignorance cannot merge with other realms, nor can it merge even with the elements of water or fire."
