Imperially Commissioned Complete Library in Four Sections original: 欽定四庫全書, Qinding Siku Quanshu. This monumental project was the largest collection of books in Chinese history, compiled by order of the Qianlong Emperor in the 18th century to preserve and categorize all known Chinese knowledge into four branches: Classics, History, Philosophy (which included science and mathematics), and Belles-Lettres.
