The 'Shuli Jingyun' (Imperial Compendium of Mathematical Principles) is a monumental 53-volume work commissioned by the Kangxi Emperor. Extensive catalog searches confirm that no complete English translation of this massive compendium has ever been published. However, significant excerpts and technical sections have been translated and analyzed within major scholarly monographs on the history of Chinese science, most notably by Catherine Jami and Jean-Claude Martzloff.
