The various regions of the Southern Barbarians and others include Annan Present-day northern Vietnam., Japan, the Western Barbarians Refers to the peoples of Tibet and the western frontier., Cambodia, Java, Korea, Ryukyu, Henan original: "河南". While this usually refers to the Central Chinese province, in these catalogs it occasionally refers to specific southern maritime regions or remains an administrative anomaly., Sumatra, the Uyghurs, Melaka, Siam Thailand., Champa A kingdom in what is now central and southern Vietnam., Hexi The Gansu Corridor., Myanmar, and the Dada. The Dada original: "達達". Also known as the Tartars. are the same as the Tartars, who are known today as the Northern Barbarians. Other regions are not listed in full detail; however, because the affairs of the Northern Barbarians are the most urgent, they are specially noted here.
