Discourse 4, The Third Section.

Of the division (1) of the many-fold Trinity. And the meaning of this is one. And that which belongs to this, to the One, has a perception of existence, and word, and life, and is not. And one is the kyana nature, and three in the qnume hypostases/individual substances. 50. The cause of causes and the life of existence, and the word of the mind of existence, it is not possible that they should be. And if so, from which will were they made, that which is made for the knowledge? Therefore, the cause (2): indeed, the master of existence is for him. But for the completion and the life, the image, the Son and the Spirit. 51. The word before, while the Spirit is in that which is spoken, as in that which is not from the light, from the image. But life, he tastes also, in that which lives, in that which lives. And this nature is the Son from birth, and not from procession. But the Spirit is of procession, and not of birth. 52. If you seek the Creator of all and God, it is not possible that the Trinity is for the nature, in the mediation of every phenomenon of the Spirit which was. 53. If it is not written that which is placed in the word, God was revealed to the prophets, and in the vitality and the life of the soul, which are for his likeness, if it was written (3) that which is in our likeness (4) and in our image, that which breathes in the soul and is speaking and the life of the soul, was it revealed to the prophets? 54. If it is not from knowledge, but from the image of the existence of the existence, the cause of the existence of which to the prophecy is not found, but from the phenomenon of the Son.
