...where the new edition deviates from the previously printed text based on the manuscript, or where Dindorf’s explicit statements regarding the manuscript's readings are incorrect. The list makes no claim to completeness. The notation "Di" denotes the reading that Dindorf claims is in L, or—where no statement about the manuscript reading is provided—the reading he offers in his text. Determining in individual cases whether these are collation errors or typographical errors, which Dindorf adopted from Victorius, Potter, or Klotz, or committed himself, seemed of little value. In many cases, these are errors from the editio princeps first printed edition, which Dindorf presented as readings from the manuscript.
