Only partial translations or excerpts exist. This is the first complete English translation.
The work in question is Jacques-Paul Migne's 1877 edition of St. Jerome's 'Opera Omnia' (Patrologia Latina, Vols. 22-30). While many individual works by St. Jerome have been translated into English (e.g., in the 'Nicene and Post-Nicene Fathers' series, 'Ancient Christian Writers', and various academic press editions), there is no complete English translation of the entire 'Opera Omnia' as compiled by Migne. The Migne edition is a massive, multi-volume collection of Latin texts; individual components have been translated, but the collection as a whole has not. Therefore, this is a case where partial translations exist, but no complete translation of the specific compilation exists.
