Furthermore, we establish that both animate and inanimate things have a Nature, since both contain the principle of their motion within themselves: yet so that Nature is predicated of both these κατὰ πρότερον καὶ ὕστερον according to priority and posteriority, that is, the Nature by which Animals are moved is more excellent and noble than that which is in things lacking a soul.

Finally, we conclude that the term Nature is also rightly attributed to both Matter and Form, according to Aristotle: yet so that the Form is said to be a more noble and excellent Nature than the Matter.
