A contemporary English translation of this specific resolution was published in London in 1631 by Nathaniel Butter and Nicholas Bourne, titled 'The resolution of the High and Mightie His Highnesse the Elector of Saxonie, given to the King of Spaines Ambassadour, the 19. of October, 1631.' This translation was produced to satisfy the high demand for news during the Thirty Years' War. No modern scholarly translation has been identified, making a new translation the first modern one.
