Only antiquated translations exist. This is the first modern English translation.
Complete English translations of Hierocles' Commentary exist, but they are antiquated. The most notable are the 1707 translation by Nicholas Rowe (translated from Dacier's French) and the 1906 translation by Alice Morton (from the Greek). No modern scholarly English translation of the full commentary has been published in the last century, although Hermann Schibli's 2002 monograph 'Hierocles of Alexandria' provides an extensive study of the work.
