Opera Omnia, Tomus Primus
No prior complete English translation of this text has been found.
Pierre Gassendi's 'Opera Omnia' is a massive collection of his philosophical and scientific works, originally published in Latin in the 17th century (notably the 1658 Lyon edition). While individual treatises within the 'Opera Omnia' (such as parts of the 'Syntagma Philosophicum') have been translated into English in various scholarly contexts, the 'Opera Omnia' as a complete, multi-volume collection has never been translated into English. Given the scale and nature of this work, it remains a primary source text in its original Latin.
