S. Isidori Hispalensis Opera Omnia, Tom. IV
Isidore of Seville; Arevalo, Faustinus
Only partial translations or excerpts exist. This is the first complete English translation.
The work 'S. Isidori Hispalensis Opera Omnia' edited by Faustinus Arevalo (published in Rome, 1797-1803) is a comprehensive critical edition of the collected works of Isidore of Seville. While individual works contained within this collection (such as the 'Etymologiae', 'De ecclesiasticis officiis', 'Sententiae', and 'De natura rerum') have been translated into English in modern scholarly editions, the 'Opera Omnia' as a complete, multi-volume collection has never been translated into English. Therefore, this is a first complete translation of the collection.
