The 'Wubei Zhi' is a massive 240-volume military encyclopedia from the Ming Dynasty. While significant portions have been translated or analyzed in scholarly works—most notably the 'Mao Kun map' (Juan 240) by J.V.G. Mills and technical sections on gunpowder and weaponry by Joseph Needham—there is no evidence in any catalog of a complete English translation of the entire work or of the specific 'Zhanlue Kao' (Strategic Studies) section (Juan 26) shown in the sample text. Existing translations are limited to excerpts, maps, and technical descriptions within broader academic studies.
Ma Huan: Ying-yai Sheng-lan: 'The Overall Survey of the Ocean's Shores' [1433] (contains the Mao Kun map from Wubei Zhi Juan 240), trans. J.V.G. Mills (1970) [partial] source
Science and Civilisation in China, Volume 5, Part 7: Military Technology: The Gunpowder Epic, trans. Joseph Needham, Robin D.S. Yates, et al. (1994) [excerpts] source
