L'art de naviguer
No prior complete English translation of this text has been found.
While Pedro de Medina's 'Arte de navegar' was translated into English by John Frampton in 1581, that translation was made directly from the original Spanish text. The 1569 French edition is a translation by Nicolas de Nicolay, and no evidence was found of an English translation of this specific French version. In accordance with the instructions, since the French source text itself has not been rendered into English, this is considered a first translation.
