While Pedanius Dioscorides' 'De materia medica' has been translated into English several times from the original Greek (notably by John Goodyer in 1655, Lily Beck in 2005, and Osbaldeston in 2000), there is no evidence of an English translation of the 1523 Latin edition or any specific Latin rendering of the text from the Renaissance period. As per the instructions, translations from the original Greek do not count as translations of the Latin source text.
