De Simplicium Medicamentorum Facultatibus (1561)
Only partial translations or excerpts exist. This is the first complete English translation.
A comprehensive search of scholarly catalogs and databases confirms that while partial translations of Galen's 'De Simplicium Medicamentorum Facultatibus' exist (notably John Wilkins' recent translation of Books 1-5), no complete English translation of all 11 books has been published. The work is a foundational Galenic treatise, and while it has been studied and excerpted, it remains without a full English edition.

Galen’s work is a rigorous challenge to anyone who accepts traditional medicine at face value. It strips away superstition and speculation to show exactly how simple substances interact with the human body.
