Opera Sancti Dionysii
Pseudo-Dionysius the Areopagite
English translations of this work exist from another source language, but this specific text has never been translated.
The work 'The Collected Works of Pseudo-Dionysius' is a collection of writings originally composed in Greek. While these works have been translated into English multiple times from the original Greek (e.g., the 1987 Paulist Press edition by Colm Luibheid), there is no evidence of a translation into English from the specific Latin editions (such as the 1516 edition) that were common in the Renaissance. The Latin editions were themselves translations from the Greek, and modern English translations are based on the Greek source text, not the Latin intermediary. Therefore, this is a first translation from the Latin source.

Pseudo-Dionysius maps the hidden architecture of the cosmos, connecting the smallest human ritual to the furthest angelic sphere. Readers will discover a radical approach to theology that moves beyond logic into the silence of divine union.
