The C.I. Gerhardt edition, 'Die philosophischen Schriften von G. W. Leibniz' (1875–1890), is a 7-volume collection of Leibniz's philosophical works in their original languages (primarily Latin and French, with some German). It has never been translated into English as a complete, unified set. However, the individual works contained within these volumes have been extensively translated into English in various scholarly anthologies and critical editions over the last century. Therefore, while no complete translation of the 7-volume set exists, the contents are widely available in English.

Step inside the mind of the 'last universal genius' as his revolutionary philosophy unfolds in real-time. This volume uncovers the private correspondence of Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz, revealing how he bridged the gap between raw scientific data and the profound metaphysics of the 'alphabet of human thoughts.'
