Informatorium oder kurzer Unterricht
No prior complete English translation of this text has been found.
Extensive searches across multiple scholarly and library catalogs (including UNESCO Index Translationum, Open Library, Google Books, Internet Archive, and OpenAlex) yielded no evidence of an English translation for Valentin Weigel's 'Handbook, or Short Instruction' (1695). Weigel is a known figure in 17th-century German mysticism, and while some of his works have been studied, this specific instructional text does not appear to have been translated into English. Given the lack of any bibliographic record for such a translation, it is highly probable that this is a first English translation.

Stop looking toward the clouds and start looking within. Valentin Weigel’s radical handbook reveals that the human soul is a microcosm of the entire universe, containing the secret 'Jacob’s Ladder' that bridges the gap between the earthly clod and divine light.
