Only partial translations or excerpts exist. This is the first complete English translation.
While 'Haiguo Tuzhi' is a seminal work in Chinese history and has been extensively excerpted and analyzed in English scholarly literature, no complete translation of the entire 100-volume work exists. Major academic sources such as Teng and Fairbank (1954) and Jane Kate Leonard (1984) provide only partial translations or translated selections focused on specific strategic and geographical sections.
