Liber Metaphisice; Liber Ethicorum
English translations of this work exist from another source language, but this specific text has never been translated.
Aristotle's 'Metaphysics' and 'Ethics' are foundational works originally written in Greek. While numerous English translations exist based on the Greek original (such as the standard Ross translations or Loeb editions), there is no evidence of a translation specifically from the medieval Latin versions titled 'Liber Metaphisice' and 'Liber Ethicorum'. These Latin texts were the standard vehicles for Aristotelian philosophy in the 13th century, but modern scholarship and publishing focus on the Greek source material. Therefore, this is a first translation from the Latin source.
